Life long artists Mike and Karen Purcell of Coastal Alabama are the creative couple behind Red Sky Sign. Mike a retired Sailor and Karen a retired Teacher/school administrator/church planter. Diagnosed with Early Onset Parkinson’s 10 years ago, Karen is able to Art on her less sucky days. Lately the original designs and sayings Mike creates are sketched out for Karen and she has been hand painting them on canvas totes and pillows or on locally salvaged wood or pews from area churches. Their art is very much a collaboration combining their weaknesses and strengths. As always a portion of Karen’s proceeds are gifted to Parkinson’s Research.
